Total research income increased from $189 million in 2006 to around $233 million in 2007.

In 2007 Monash received $49 million in National Health and Medical Research Council grants, up from $39 million in 2006.

Australian Research Council grants increased from $35.2 million in 2006 to $38.7 million in 2007.
