Medical consultation costs

This table describes how we will bill you for your medical visit.

Domestic students We will bulk-bill the cost of your visit directly to Medicare if you:
  • are an Australian citizen or permanent resident
  • hold a current Medicare card.
International students Current OSHC Worldcare or Medibank Private card holders
We will direct-bill the cost of your visit to your health care provider.

Other OSHC insurance holders
You will have to pay at the time of your visit and claim the refund from your insurer
Staff General visits
We will charge you a discounted fee for your visit.

Work-related travel visits and immunisations
You will have to pay for your visit then claim the refund from your faculty or department later
General public We will charge you a private set of fees

Payment methods and other costs

You need to pay for your:

  • visit on the day of service by cash, credit card or eftpos
  • vaccines and medications.
