Mission statement

To facilitate student-centred learning, with the appropriate use of educational technology.

HEPCIT aims to:

1. Increase awareness of the use of communication and information technology (CIT) in education
2. Focus attention on new developments in CIT which benefit teaching and learning
3. Inform the planning processes and policies that relate to learning and teaching at Monash University.

HEPCIT strategies:

1. Provide joint seminars/conferences with associated interest groups
2. Build links to relevant on-line resources
3. Maintain a reference document of current multimedia projects
4. Provide input from the practitioners' level to IT policy matters in the university.
