On-line Discussion:
Effective Learning
or a Virtual Tower of Babel?

Expert Panel Discussion
Friday 14th April, 1 -3 pm, refreshments provided (RSVP below)
Central 1, Clayton campus
and
teleconferenced to Room 2W263 Gippsland campus.

HEPCIT presents an important debate on the " reality" of teaching and learning with on-line discussion.

Is on-line discussion really learning? Or is it just hype? Is it too much effort for too little benefit?

Six of Monash's most experienced - and articulate - practitioners will share their experiences, chaired by Professor Graham Webb (CHED).

An on-line discussion will precede the panel discussion! Join in and tell us your most positive and negative experiences - or read other people's stories ... discussion started 5th of April

Panel members to include:

  • Assoc Professor Chris Browne
  • Ms Melissa de Zwart, awarded the Vice-Chancellor's Award for Distinguished Teaching 1999
  • Ms Kim Styles
  • Dr Roger Hadgraft
  • Assoc Professor David Murphy

Plus Dr John Pearson will be on-site at Gippsland.
