Financial Issues for Multimedia at Monash
A HEPCIT Discussion led by Ian Thomas & Chris Browne
The session will be a discussion session where we invite interested
people to come along and have their say about what the university
should be doing to promote and support the use of multimedia in
learning and teaching.
Some of the questions to be addressed include:
- What were the outcomes from the multimedia grants of 1996?
- Can we afford to be in multimedia?
- Can we afford not to be in multimedia?
- How can be best support multimedia development and use?
- How should we be training staff in multimedia?
- What is the University doing currently?
- What should the University be doing?
- Should multimedia be a centrally supported activity or should each
Faculty go its own way?
