ASSN Mission Statement

Contribute to the education of staff in professional administrative roles at Monash University by providing opportunities to meet and exchange ideas and information relating to broad career development strategies.

Encourage and support professional attitudes and procedures relating to administrative, clerical and secretarial support staff.

Foster a collegial climate in which staff members from all Monash campuses can participate in discussion, seminars and informal gatherings.

Generate a network of colleagility within Monash University and focus on the opportunities already occurring.

Promote the public image of administrative support staff as a valuable field of professional endeavour.

Stimulate public debate about administrative issues related to the workplace and higher education in particular.
