Graduation ceremony services

A variety of graduation services is available at Clayton, Gippsland and overseas ceremonies.

These include:

• Monash merchandise

• refreshments
• rings.

At Clayton, services are located in the Banquet Room, Main Dining Room and Airport Lounge, 1st floor, Campus Centre (Building 10). 

At Gippsland, services are located in the Knuckle area (near the cafeteria).

At overseas ceremonies, services are generally located in the foyer.

DVDs

If you are graduating at the Clayton campus, you can have your graduation professionally filmed by Ambassador Productions

The DVD will include scenes from the University campus, the entrance procession, welcoming speeches, and a close-up of the Chancellor greeting each graduate.

Flowers

Vendors sell flowers on campus on graduation day.

Food on campus

Make a reservation for lunch or dinner at Joe's Restaurant at Clayton campus. Telephone 9905 5294.

Framing

Have your testamur professionally framed by R & J Framing

We can frame your testamur on the day. You will find us before and after the ceremony, in the same area as the photographers. We have a wide range of Australian, custom-made frames including specialised surrounding matt boards in colours to suit your faculty.

Monash merchandise

The Monash University Shop at Clayton campus has a wide range of graduation memorabilia and Australian souvenirs.

Photography

Have photos of your graduation professionally taken by Southam Studios or by Collin McKeown Photographics (Gippsland only) - telephone 5174 7314. A sitting fee applies.

We will post samples to you so you can choose your favourite photos for enlargement.

Plaques

Impressions Plaques can make an impressive replica plaque of your degree for display. We take a photocopy of your degree and make a replica in colour on gold metal. This is mounted on a traditional style backing, in a rosewood or mahogany colour. Interstate and overseas delivery is available.

Refreshments

Monash invites you and your guests to refreshments after your ceremony.

Rings

Achievement Awards Australasia creates graduation rings with the University name and crest, which can be personalised.
