If you live in the US you can now receive full US tax benefits for your donation of $US500 or more, by donating via CAFAmerica. CAFAmerica is a not-for-profit organisation that supports philanthropy around the world.

• Download and complete a CAFAmerica donation form  or donate online.  If you want the gift to be used for a particular project e.g. scholarships, please indicate this on your form as 'Monash University – scholarships’.  Your suggestion of a grant to Monash University will be considered by CAFAmerica's Board of Directors.
• Once you have sent your gift to CAFAmerica, we encourage you to notify us by email so we can process and acknowledge your gift as promptly as possible.
• CAFAmerica will issue you an official receipt of donation and confirmation of grant to Monash University, which you can use to claim full tax deductions under 501c(3) of the US tax code. 

We will send you a thank you letter acknowledging your generosity and confirming that we received your gift.

Donating to Monash as a Canadian resident

Monash has been recognised as a prescribed foreign university for Canadian income tax purposes.

If you are making a gift to the University, you may be able to claim tax benefits in Canada for your eligible donation.
