Staff philanthropy campaignA growing community of Monash staff philanthropists achieving life-changing results Monash University launched its third Staff Philanthropy Appeal on 5 April 2011. Monash staff participate in philanthropy each year by supporting students through scholarships, bursaries, grants and campus enhancements. Monash continues to be a leader in Philanthropy engaging all stakeholders of the University. Over the years, more than 700 staff have donated to causes within the University. Staff also support causes outside of the university, as seen during the recent disasters in Australia, New Zealand and Japan. Now in its third year, the annual Monash Staff Philanthropy Campaign continues to focus on the Achieving Potential Fund – a major initiative that aims to raise $50 million to provide scholarships, bursaries and support grants for our students. Monash is committed to educating the very best and brightest students, no matter where they come from or what their personal circumstances might be. When you make a gift to the Achieving Potential Fund, you can select to support students from your faculty, institute or campus. Various payment options are available, including salary packaging donations by choosing the payroll option to make a donation. Join us in helping tomorrow’s leaders achieve their full potential. Thank you to everyone who supports our students through this campaign. Together, we are achieving life-changing results. For any enquiries about the annual Staff Philanthropy Campaign, please do not hesitate to contact Paul Benjamin in the Advancement office on 0438 526 864 or email paul.benjamin@monash.edu.
