'Thanks' is such a simple word, but one that is often neglected. At Monash, we understand the importance of saying thanks and recognising the generosity of the individuals, foundations and trusts that make up our donor community.

Recognising our donors

The generosity of our donors is central to so many of Monash University’s world-class achievements. Your philanthropic gifts make student scholarships and bursaries, innovations in research, teaching and learning initiatives and campus enhancements possible. We acknowledge the generosity of our donors in a number of ways.

Naming opportunities
We look forward to working with donors to discover the best way we can recognise your gifts and support of Monash University. One option may include the naming of professorial chairs, scholarships and bursaries, prizes, buildings, research projects, teaching and learning spaces, or other initiatives in your honour. Some donors may choose to honour a relative or person of significance. Others may prefer to remain anonymous. We respect every donor’s preferences.

Donor recognition circles
Our donor recognition societies and circles provide opportunities to recognise the generosity of our valued donors. Events and activities held through these circles allow us to say thank you. They also provide the opportunity for donors to connect and be involved with the University. Read more about our donor recognition circles.

Event invitations
We provide a range of ongoing opportunities to connect and involve our supporters with University and campus life. As a supporter of Monash University, you will receive invitations to relevant faculty and project related events throughout the year, such as special lectures, launches and student awards, prizes and scholarship evenings.
