Donor circles

Our donor recognition societies and circles provide opportunities to recognise the generosity of our valued donors. Events and activities held through these circles allow us to say thank you. They also provide the opportunity for donors to connect and be involved with the University, and to learn more about how their philanthropy is having an impact.

Chancellor’s Table

The Chancellor’s Table extends the University’s highest order of recognition to its most significant donors (individuals, foundations and organisations). Launched in 2011, affiliation to this society is based upon lifetime cumulative contributions, which have provided substantial support of $1,000,000 or more to Monash University.

New affiliates of The Chancellor’s Table are presented with a token gift of appreciation to mark their membership and to express our appreciation for their generosity.

An annual private dinner is hosted by the Chancellor and members are communicated with on a regular basis to celebrate and recognise philanthropy and the transformational impact collaborative giving at this level is having on education, research and our campuses.

Lifetime Society

The Lifetime Society has been established to acknowledge and celebrate outstanding philanthropic contributions to the University. Members of the society (individuals, foundations and organisations) have given between $100,000 and $999,999 over their lifetime, which has helped Monash to carry out vital research and provide life-changing opportunities for students.

An annual exclusive event gives affiliate members the opportunity to meet staff and students who have been directly impacted by philanthropy.  The University presents new affiliates with a small gift to thank them for their notable commitment to Monash, and to welcome them to the Society.

Commitment Circle

The Commitment Circle was launched in 2012 to formally acknowledge and recognise individuals, foundations and organisations who support Monash University through significant annual gifts.

We will invite our valued circle affiliates to attend an annual event in recognition of their significant philanthropic support of Monash in the previous year. In addition to a dedicated event, we look forward to keeping the Commitment Circle informed about how their support is advancing projects and initiatives at Monash University.
