Fee non-payment (encumbrance)

We place an encumbrance on your account if you do not pay your fees, charges or fines as invoiced. This means you will not be able to access library, computer or enrolment services. You cannot see your exam results, request academic transcripts or graduate.

We will send you a letter if this happens.

We will invalidate (cancel) your enrolment if you do not pay your debts.

Removing an encumbrance

  1. Pay your debts to us
  2. We will return your access to services once we receive your payment. This can take up to 3 working days
