Course fee payment extension

You can get up to 20 extra working days (up to 60 in special cases) to pay your course fees if you:

• apply before your fees are due
• prove you have serious financial difficulties
• are paying full fees.

You will not qualify if:

• it is your first semester
• you have enrolled through an Offshore Partner Program.

Final year, final semester students: extra conditions apply.

Apply online

Apply using WES (including Monash College students).

We will email your Monash account within 5 working days to let you know if we approved your extension. If we do not, you can appeal.

We will email your Monash account within 10 working days to let you know the result of your appeal.

Appeal reviews

If your appeal is not successful and your fees are over $1000, you can write to the review panel. You will need to:

• explain why your case is so unusual
• prove that you have tried all other ways to get help to pay your fees.

The panel will look at your ability to pay, course results and payment history.
