Policy - Blind Marking of ExaminationsTo ensure equality of the marking process, the university has approved the implementation of "blind marking" for end of semester examinations utilising the student Identification Number (ID) and Desk Number as the forms of identification. Examinations ProceduresOn-campus students* will be advised in the pre-examinations address by the Invigilator in Charge NOT to place their name on scriptbooks or examination papers. Students will be requested to record their student ID, desk number, unit code, and date on these items. There will no longer be provision for the student's name on scriptbooks. When sitting examinations, student's will need to ensure they clearly and accurately record their ID number and desk number on scriptbooks. *Note: This policy will not apply at Off-campus examination venues (where Distance Education and Open Learning students sit their exams) due to difficulties associated with the administrative processes at some venues. |
