Alternative Assessment ArrangementsStudents with a disability may arrange to have their exam/s held under alternative or varied conditions. Common alternative arrangements may include extra time, separate or private venues, specialised technical equipment or furniture etc. To be eligible to sit an examination under alternative conditions, students must be assessed by the Disability Liaison Unit. The alternative arrangements implemented by the Examinations Section are at the direction of the Disability Liaison Unit. Alternative ArrangementsExtra TimeIn general, students granted extra time will not need to sit in a separate venue. A letter, confirming the venue, and advising of start and finishing times will be mailed approximately 1-2 weeks prior to the commencement of the examination period. Special VenueStudents with special examination requirements are informed by mail of the arrangements made for them, and the examination venue. |
