3rd Annual AMREP Global Health Forum

Connecting with Europe: Monash Europe Network Forum

Monash University presents a forum devoted to collaboration opportunities with Europe, to mark the launch of the Australian Regenerative Medicine Institute and the establishment of EMBL Australia.

The university will host an afternoon of sessions devoted to bilateral and Europe-wide collaboration opportunities for Australian university researchers and educators. Discussions will focus on European opportunities including the Framework Program and the Marie Curie Schemes, Australian schemes that support interaction with Europe and presentations on bilateral cooperation opportunities and schemes.

Speakers include representatives of the Forum for European-Australian Science and Technology Cooperation (FEAST), European diplomatic missions and education agencies.

The Centre for the Advancement of Learning and Teaching (CALT) is proud to present the next event in the 2009 Learning and Teaching Showcase Series.

Enriching Learning and Teaching Through Indigenous Voices is an important seminar that will provide participants with an opportunity to contribute to discussion on this engaging and timely topic.

It is also an opportunity to learn more about the CALT YULENDJ Indigenous project, directed at integrating Indigenous knowledge and wisdom's within the framework of inclusive learning and teaching at Monash.

The keynote address will be followed by a panel discussion and audience participation. The panel will consist of:

Eric Santner is the Philip and Ida Romberg Professor in Modern Germanic Studies at the University of Chicago.
