Description:Directed by award winning staff member Anthony Pope, the Monash University Brass and Trumpet ensembles feature the brass students from the School of Music – Conservatorium. They will perform an exciting array of music, dating from the baroque period (J.Clarke Trumpet Voluntary), to the 21st century (Reiner/De Wilde, Monash Fanfare).

Monash World Music Orchestra - Musical Director, Sam Evans

This orchestra embraces a cross section of music influences and languages from various cultures, in the true spirit of contemporary Australian society. Part of its uniqueness lies in its use of a wide variety of instruments, both old and modern, and arrangements which marry beautifully the diverse makeup of the ensemble and the myriad of resources from which it draws material and inspiration.

Monash Stage Band Musical Director, Ian Whitehurst Now approaching a decade in existence, this band of eighteen musicians plays the best of repertoire from overseas, but puts emphasis also on the works of some of Australia's most outstanding composers and arrangers, a number of whom are on the teaching staff of Monash's Jazz and Popular Music program.
