Language studies

Although it is not a requirement for enrolment, we recommend that students consider studying a European language in parallel with their work in European and EU Studies. This combination, which allows a student to link the study of European subject matter to the development of communicative skills in a relevant language, is vocationally even more advantageous than the study of a European language or of European and EU Studies alone.

The Monash European and EU Centre has strong links with the School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics. Students may enrol in one of the language courses by the school.
