A conference for post-graduate students and early career researchers with research focus on contemporary Europe organised by the Monash European and EU Centre

  • Professor Jan Zielonka, Oxford University

Topics include:

  1. Political, economic, social and cultural transition of Central and Eastern European states
  2. Common challenges (for both Western and eastern states): gas, energy, migration, tackling climate change, terrorism, corruption etc
  3. Relations between East and West, perceptions of the East in the West and the West in the East
  4. European relations with third countries.

Selected papers from the conference will appear in a refereed publication.
