Monash e-Research Centre e-XPO: Technological Innovation Transforming ResearchExhibition & Demonstrations19 - 21 August, 2009
All researchers, students and staff are invited to attend the Monash e-Research Centre's 'e-XPO', Technological innovation transforming research, an exhibition which includes informative demonstrations, and a series of presentations. Society and knowledge are being fundamentally changed by information and communication technology. Globally, researchers are becoming linked closer than ever before through advances in real-time collaboration tools. Data sets coupled with computer processing power have lead to exciting and innovative research techniques for all disciplines. Staff will demonstrate practical solutions in Data Management and storage, data analysis utilising High Performance Computing, state-of-the-art Visualisation Services and real-time, global Collaboration Services - enabling faster, better and more creative research. This is part of the 'Research Matters' program of events at Monash University. *The exhibition will also include a selection from the 'Research Student Poster Exhibition'.
