Recent activities in support of e-Research at Monash

2008

• The Australian Research Repositories Online to the World (ARROW) project was completed.
• The Australian Research Enabling Environment (ARCHER)  project was completed. The final tools and deliverables are available here.

2007

• The Data Grid Access Layer (DGAL) project was completed.
• The Monash e-Research Portal (MeRP) project commenced.
• The Data Acquisition, Accessibility and Annotation e-Research Technologies (DART) project was completed - final reports are available here.
• The Shoah Foundation Visual History Archive  was commissioned.
• The Monash Campus Grid (MCG) was established.

2006

• The Data Grid Storage Infrastructure (DSIeR) project was completed.
• The MAMS Mini-grant project was completed.
• The Monash Large Research Data Store (LaRDS) was commissioned.

2005

• The Monash e-Research Centre was formed.
• The Monash Sun Grid (MSG) compute facility  was commissioned.
• An enhanced computing service environment was introduced for postgraduate research (HDR) students.
