MAMS Mini-Grant

In 2006, Monash was awarded a small grant to further the aims of the Meta-Access Management System  (MAMS) project.  The following was achieved:

• Designed & established federated authentication & authorization framework for Monash
• Successfully joined the MAMS testbed federation.
• Implemented Level 2 security Identity Provider (IdP) inc. documentation
• Implemented Level 2 security Service Provider (SP) inc. documentation
• Shibboleth enabled GridSphere allowing "single sign on" access to a simple GridSphere portlet
• A pilot E-Research Grid Services portal has been developed which will be able to deploy standard portals developed through other projects
• Federated Myproxy development for accessing Grid services
