2013 Advancing Women's Research Success Grant Program

The Equal Opportunity for Women Committee is pleased to announce that applications are now being sought for the 2013 Advancing Women's Research Success Grant program.

These grants form part of the University's Gender Equity Strategy 2011-2015 and highlight the University's commitment to improving
the representation of women in senior academic roles.

The grants are targeted at female academic staff at Level B and Level C with primary caring responsibilities (child/dependant/elder) and aim to support women to enhance, maintain or re-invigorate their research productivity at a critical time in their careers.

Each grant is valued at $12,000 and can be used flexibly to reduce the impact of career breaks and/or intense caring responsibilities
on an academic career.  

Please note: Recipients of a 2012 Advancing Women in Research Grant are not eligible to apply for a 2013 Advancing Women's Research Success Grant.
