Student Grievance InformationThe University is committed to ensuring that all students have a positive relationship with the University and its staff members. The Equity and Diversity Centre supports this commitment and invites feedback from students who have a complaint or grievance that relates to the Disability Liaison Unit and its provision of services and facilities. How will grievances be handled?1. Students can raise any concerns with their assigned Disability Liaison Officer. This can be in writing, via email or in person by making an appointment. Contact details for the Disability Liaison Unit are: Disability Liaison Unit The Disability Liaison Officer will acknowledge all concerns and endeavour to discuss them with the student in a timely manner. The purpose of these discussions will be to achieve a resolution satisfactory to the student and the Disability Liaison Officer. 2. Where a student is not satisfied with the handling of their complaint, the issues are still unresolved or the student does not feel comfortable discussing the complaint with the assigned Disability Liaison Officer, the student can contact Leah Zaks, Coordinator, Equal Opportunity-Information and Resolution Services on 03 9902 0248 or leah.zaks@monash.edu. Where the matter cannot readily be resolved, it will be investigated and the student will be informed of the outcome. The Equity and Diversity Centre will take all complaints seriously. Any complaints received will be acknowledged and addressed as quickly as possible. 3.
