10. Monash University Staff Implementation Committee
10.1 This Agreement establishes a Monash University Staff Implementation Committee (MUSIC). MUSIC will assist in the effective operation of this Agreement by performing all functions as assigned to it by this Agreement.
10.2 The Committee will comprise:
- A Chair who is a staff member employed at the University and who is elected by academic staff and general staff of the University;
- One elected member of the academic staff employed at the University; and
- One elected member of the general staff employed at the University.
- Two persons nominated by the Union;
- Two management representatives nominated by the University.
10.3 Members of MUSIC will serve for the nominal life of this Agreement and will be eligible for re-election or reappointment. Any existing members of MUSIC as at the date of certification of this Agreement will continue to be members for the purpose of this Agreement. Should an elected member resign from the MUSIC during her or his term, the University will conduct an election commencing within four weeks to replace the member until the next scheduled election. Should a nominated member resign from MUSIC, a new member will be nominated by the Union or the University, as the case may be. |
