Faculty course information sessions

Some faculties, such as Arts and Science, have quite varied course offerings with a large number of unit choices. Other faculties may have fairly prescribed first year unit choices with some elective offerings.

Attendance at these 1 to 2 hours sessions is compulsory. It will help you to understand how to meet your course requirements.

If you cannot attend, contact your faculty for alternatives.

Bring your:

  • VTAC or Monash offer letter
  • photo ID (passport, Australian driver’s licence).

If applying for credit for previous study, and/or recognition of prior learning (RPL) bring:

  • outlines of the units you have studied
  • certified copies of your academic transcripts
  • documentation showing the structure of the course you studied.

Double degree students:

  • must attend their managing faculty’s information session (the faculty that offered you a place in your course)
  • are recommended to attend sessions of both faculties.

Off-campus students can attend the sessions for on-campus students, although it is not a requirement.
