Fee statement on WES

From 1 January 2012 all students pay a Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) each calendar year.

Domestic students do not have to pay fees on enrolment day. We email you about 2 weeks after enrolment to tell you your fee statement is available on the Web Enrolment System (WES).

Your fees are based on the units you have enrolled in for your first semester.

Enrolment changes

You can change your enrolment up until the census date

  • No financial penalties apply for discontinuing a unit up to the census date
  • A late fee applies for adding units after the second week of semester

You are liable for fees for all units you are enrolled in on the census date.

Register your timetable preferences in Allocate+

Most students need to use Allocate+ between 10 January - 16 February 2012 to enter their class timetable preferences:

  • Allocate+ creates your personal timetable
  • The units you enrol in will appear in Allocate+, including unit activities such as lectures, tutorial, labs etc

Go to the Timetables website for information on how to:

Some faculties assign you to activities - see Allocate+ special cases

Discontinue to accept a later offer

To take up a later or supplementary offer in a different course, you must discontinue the course you are enrolled in. Use WES or fill in a course discontinuation form (pdf 42kb) You must do this before the census date or you will be charged for both courses.

Orientation week: 20 - 24 February 2012

This is the start of the academic year for all new students. Going to orientation helps you get ready for classes. You can meet students and staff and get settled into university.
