Change of name

  1. Complete the variation to personal details form (pdf 190kb).
  2. Return this to a student service centre.
  3. Attach supporting documentation (e.g. marriage certificate).

Change of address

Change your address in the Web Enrolment System (WES)

We will not accept requests by telephone.

Scholarship holders

Undergraduates must notify the Coursework Scholarships Unit, Student Administration, Clayton campus.

Postgraduates must notify the Monash Research Graduate School

International students

You must give Monash University your address within 7 days of:

  • arriving in Australia
  • making a change to your address.

This is a condition of your visa. Do this in WES

Failure to notify

The university accepts no responsibility if:

  • we do not have your current address
  • you do not get important communications (eg supplementary or deferred examinations, exclusion, discipline, invalidation) due to the non-payment of fees.
