Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences staff will provide their insights into curriculum re-development and the role of technologies in engaging the tech savvy 'Gen Y'. The focus is based on educational innovation, promoting active learning through engagement and offering opportunities for students to develop skills. Virtual practice spaces, web-based worlds, and avatar communities are spaces and tools that are easily adopted and anticipated by Gen Y. This showcase of sessions explores the spaces and tools and their impact on student learning. Faculty will discuss the challenges, effectiveness, and future development of curriculum innovation.
