Appealing a decision

You can appeal if you:

Have new information that was not reasonably available at the time of the hearing
Believe the faculty did not follow the proper process

You must send:

Notice of appeal
Supporting documents

Conditional enrolment

Make sure you meet any conditions placed on your enrolment. Some faculties provide a contact person to support you during this time.

Exclusion

Being excluded is not the end of the world. You should use this time to think about why you came to Monash and what you really want for your future.

Is this the right course for you?
Do you want to study somewhere else?
Maybe you could study part-time or off-campus?
Is this the right time for you to study? (health or other personal issues may mean it is not)
Should you be looking for a job instead?
If you are an international student, should you think about studying in another country?

If you want to return to Monash, you will need to show that your situation has changed and your academic work has improved (by passing a unit in Open Learning or at another institution, for example).
