The Monash School Holiday Program (MUSHP):
- Is a licensed children's service with the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development
- Provides fun, safe, inclusive school holiday care
- Caters for primary school-aged children of Monash staff and students
- Runs at Clayton campus
- Enables eligible families to receive the Child Care Benefit (CCB)
- Is workplace sponsored
Program activities
- Provides a wide range of exciting indoor and outdoor activities
- Balances education with entertainment, structured and unstructured activities
- Allows children's input and choices
- Runs special presentations and activities hosted by local community organisations
Activities include swimming, indoor and outdoor sport, drama and music, cinema, science, cooking, arts and crafts.

Late enrolments:
- May be accepted if places are available
- Incur a $10 late fee
Fees
Fees per child
- The daily rate is $48 per child
- A family discount of $3 per day applies if 3 or more children attending
- If your child attends one or more swimming days, there is a one-off payment of $10 per child
- Additional fees of $4 - $10 may apply for special activities

- You need to know your Child Care Benefit rate
- This needs to be confirmed by Centrelink before MUSHP processes reductions

First-time families to the program
For more information, you can:
Child Care Benefit
To receive the Child Care Benefit (CCB) you:
- Must apply to the Family Assistance Office/Centrelink (Tel: 136 150)
- Link your family to our service: Monash University School Holiday Program
Customer Reference Number: 555 007 699C
We cannot reduce fees until we have:
- Customer Reference Numbers (CRN's) and birthdates for each child
- The parent/guardian registered with Centrelink
Parents need to provide
- Lunch, morning and afternoon snacks and a water bottle
- Suitable clothing and sun protection
Enrolment procedure
If you have used the program before:
- You will receive an enrolment pack by email
- Complete and return the enrolment details
- Alternatively, download the enrolment forms in How to apply
If your family is new to the program:
We will send a confirmation of enrolment, a timetable (pdf 54kb) and receipt once we receive your payment.

- Qualified supervision
- Age groupings and venues
- Signing in and out
- Illness, absences and medications
- What children need to wear and bring (lunch, snacks, water, hat, sunscreen, etc)
- Swimming requirements and levy
