JOIN SIL

Join our unique Association this year to take advantage of reduced registration fees at SIL2001 and contribute to, and benefit from the exchange of ideas within our membership in international limnology, particularly in education, research, and effective management of water resources. It is particularly appropriate that active freshwater scientist, water resource managers and young researchers and students become involved in the activities of SIL. Full-time students working towards a graduate degree receive a 50% reduction in annual fees for a maximum of three consecutive years.

Main membership categories are:

Regular Member (65 SFr or equivalent or US$42.50)
Student Member (32.5 SFr or US$21.25)
Associate Member Institutional libraries, organisations; (130 SFr or US$ 85)
Family Member If one person of a marriage is a member at the full rate, the spouse may be a member at half membership fee. The second member has full privileges, but will not receive publications.

Payment of membership dues
Payments may be made to the General Secretary-Treasurer or to co-operating National Representatives. Exchange rates for payments in local currencies are established each November 1st for the following year.
