APPLICATIONS FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

The organising committee is seeking support for financial assistance for potential participants from developing countries through sponsorship and through and application to the International Seminars Support Scheme operated by AUSAID. Applications for assistance must be forwarded to AUSAID from the organising committee by the end of September 2000. AUSAID may support up to four applicants from any single country, with preference given to people who are in a position to use the congress experience to influence development activities in their country. Application to AUSAID can only be made by the organising committee.

Applications for assistance must include:

1. Name of the applicant
2. Gender of the Applicant
3. Position and institutional affiliation of the applicant
4. Title and abstract of proposed presentation at the Congress
5. A brief Resume of the applicant (2 pages maximum)
6. A brief explanation of how participation in the Congress will benefit the participant's country (150 words maximum).
