Instructions for using
the Online Paper Submission System
Step1: Please read
through the following carefully before you sign-in.
- Each PAPER Number
has been allocated a maximum of 2Mb of space. This means that
for each paper you have got accepted, you get 2Mb of space. You
can upload as many files (images, text, tables) you like as long
as the total size does not exceed 2Mb. But don't forget that you
need to sign-in 2 different accounts. Once you have signed-in,
You will be informed of which files you have uploaded and the
percentage of space used.
Warning: Users who use up more than their allocated space will
get their account frozen immediately. Therefore, it is highly
recommended that you use WINZIP to compress all your files in
one file and then just upload that zipped file.
- Double check before
you click the upload button. You cannot delete files from the
server once you have uploaded it.
- Sometimes, when the
file is very small and you have a fast internet connection. The
screen does not seem to have changed after you click the "Upload"
button, this may mislead users thinking that the upload has been
unsuccessful. Be sure to scroll down to check the List of files
uploaded before you go on. If your file appears on the list, that
means the system has confirm the upload and it has been successful.
- Authors has been advised
to name their files uniquely such as using initials before uploading.
Please do not use spaces or illegal charachers such as
symbols ($%^*#@) for your file names, try using "_"
as your space instead
(e.g. Alan_Wong_paper.doc, Helen_pic_1.jpg).
In addition names that are in excess of 50 characters will have
trouble, so please try to keep your name short and unique.
