The Monash Transition Roundtable 2008

To acknowledge and celebrate Monash University’s significant contribution to student transition and the student experience, I am pleased to announce that on 25 November, 2008 I will be co-hosting a full-day conference event with Professor Adam Shoemaker (Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Education) and Professor Stephanie Fahey (Deputy Vice-Chancellor, International) titled the ‘Monash Transition Roundtable 2008’. This event will be held at the Clayton campus and is co-sponsored by the Office of the Campus Director (Caulfield and Clayton), the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education), the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International), the Marketing and Student Recruitment Division and the Student and Community Services Division.
The primary aim of this event is to provide a forum for internal participants to share and discuss their expertise about the broad range of transition-related initiatives and programs that exist to support Monash students enter and adjust to life and learning at university.
Please mark this date in your diaries and forward the details to any colleagues or students who you think might be interested in presenting a paper, hosting a workshop / panel discussion or preparing a poster presentation.
