Molecular Pharmacology of G Protein-Coupled Receptors, 2007

July 18th & 19th, 2007: Victorian College of Pharmacy,
Monash University, Parkville, Victoria

Introduction

Welcome to the 4 thMolecular Pharmacology of G Protein-Coupled Receptors meeting. This year’s meeting will be held on July 18th and 19th at the Victorian College of Pharmacy ( Monash University) in Parkville, Victoria, close to the Melbourne central business district and entertainment precincts.

The “Molecular Pharmacology of G Protein-Coupled Receptors” (MPGPCR) meetings are focused on recent developments in the field, with key presentations from leading researchers from around the world.

This is a focussed and intimate meeting (maximum of 200 attendees), emphasising novel concepts in GPCR pharmacology and drug discovery.

The meeting provides a relaxed interface between students, postdoctoral fellows, academic and industrial scientists from around the globe that encourages interaction, collaboration and debate on the latest research in the field.

The MPGPCR meetings are now held every 2 years in Australia, in the second half of the year. The 5th meeting will be held in 2009.

The major sponsors for the 2007 meeting are TGR Biosciences/Perkin-Elmer Life Sciences and Monash University. The meeting is presented by the Monash Drug Discovery Biology Initiative.

We look forward to seeing you there.
