The Monash University Accident Research Centre (MUARC)

MUARC was established in 1987 with a mission to contribute to a reduction in the frequency and severity of injury by the application of a scientific multi-disciplinary approach.

Earlier this year, the Transportation Safety Council of the (US) Institute of Transportation Engineers awarded the prestigious Edmund R Ricker award to MUARC in recognition of its exemplary contribution to traffic safety.
