Monash University
Clayton campus is located
on the corner of Wellington Rd and Princes Hwy in the suburb of
Clayton, Victoria, Australia. The campus is located about 20 kms
south-east of Melbourne's central business district and 40km from
Tullamarine airport, which is about 1 hour drive from Tullamarine
Airport. A taxi trip would cost approx. $80AUD.

Monash University
is Australia's largest University. It originated at the Clayton
campus (where the 2002 symposium will be held) in 1961 with an
initial intake of just 363 students in the past forty years, it
has grown dramatically and currently has 47,000 students and staff
spread over seven campuses, including one in Malaysia.

the world and to lead the way in higher education in Australia"
The University is
involved in innovative research in fields as diverse as education
and engineering, injury prevention, information technology and
medical science. The Clayton campus has a proud record of achievement
in fostering collaborative research projects with government organisations,
the private sector and other universities, and its many research
centres are involved in a wide range of project aimed at enhancing
our society and improving our quality of life.
