Professor Phillip Taylor
Phil Taylor's research interests include Call Centres, focusing
particularly on the nature of work, employee relations and trade
union developments. With colleagues from the Universities of
Strathclyde, Stirling and Napier, he has had major funding for a
three year research project from the ESRC under their 'Future of
Work' programme to study call centres and software development.
Other research interests include HRM in the Scottish electronics
industry, Sick Building Syndrome, trade unions and HRM, patterns of
part-time employment amongst students and the labour process of
accountancy workers.
