INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP FOR RESEARCH STUDENTS
 IN EMPLOYMENT AND WORK

Aims and Provisional Program  

This half-day workshop is an intensive workshop intended for Masters and PhD research students working on theses in the areas of industrial relations, human resource management, organisational behaviour and employee relations.

The purpose of the workshop is assist research students in exploring the different stages of the research process,  engage with experts on specific research issues and provide a friendly and supportive opportunity for students to discuss current and emerging research issues with a panel of internationally recognised scholars. The workshop is designed to foster peer support and networking between students and experienced academics.

By attending the workshop, research students can improve their understanding of  research issues and the methodologies available to them and thus improve their research work. In addition, the workshop provides an opportunity to gain insights into researching and publishing in an international context.  

The workshop will take place on Thursday 23 June at Langham Hotel, Southbank, Melbourne, preceding the ACREW conference (http://www.monash.edu.au/oce/acrew/).
