Jessica Zammit, Blind Citizens Australia (BCA)

Jessica Zammit is the Victorian Advocacy and Information Officer at BCA which is the national peak consumer body for people who are blind or vision impaired. Her role involves individual advocacy, policy development, as well as direct liaison and participation with working groups and organisations to foster positive changes for people who are blind or vision impaired.

Jessica has completed a BA (Media and Communications) specialising in media and sociology. Her interest in improving the opportunities available for people who are blind or vision impaired is also evident in her continued work with other non-for-profits organisations including Retina Australia (Vic) Inc that provides support to people with retinal dystrophies.
