Andrew Wear, Manager Transport Connections Program, Department for Victorian Communities.

Andrew has a broad range of experience in Government across a number of policy areas. He is currently managing The Transport Connections Program which is a $18.3 million initiative to improve access and mobility to transport-disadvantaged communities in Victoria.

He has previously worked as a Senior Policy Adviser to the DVC Secretary, providing policy support and managing a range of strategic projects, research and policy initiatives. He has also worked as a ministerial adviser to the Victorian Minister for Transport advising on public transport operations, planning and policy reform.

He has degrees in political science, law and economics and is currently writing a Masters thesis on the role of local governance in driving innovation.
