Dr Jenny Morris, Director of Transport Policy, Department of Infrastructure

Currently Jenny is the Director of Transport Policy within the Policy and Intergovernmental Relations Division in the Victorian Department of Infrastructure. Until recently, this role included overseeing integrated transport planning projects and travel behaviour change programs.
Jenny is an urban geographer, with a longstanding interest in the social impacts of transport and urban planning. She has undertaken a range of specific research including travel behaviour of school children, older people, women, liveable suburbs, and rural and regional transport.
Prior to her current position Jenny was Director at the Transport Research Centre at RMIT Business. Jenny has also worked as an independent transport consultant and as a researcher with the Transport Research Centre and the Australian Road Research Board (now know as ARRB Transport Research). Jenny was a Visiting Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Transport Studies Unit at Oxford University.
