Applications and Synthesis in the Global Economy
The rapid rate of change in operating environments is creating the conditions for
convergence of prominent management paradigms. The quality of goods and services can no longer be assured by activity at an operational level alone, and is as much a function of the innovation processes and management of organizational knowledge. Knowledge itself is enhanced by the degree to which innovative practices are promoted, and high quality outcomes are hard to sustain without effective transfer and cognition of knowledge. The interrelationships between Quality, Innovation and Knowledge are therefore both critical to organizational effectiveness, and at the same time a fundamental problem for management. The theme of this conference is to focus on the synthesis of these three issues, and on practical organizational applications.
