    Call for papers 

 We now invite the submission of abstracts for papers to be presented at ‘Integrated    Governance: Linking up Government, Business & Civil Society’ Conference 2004.  Authors are encouraged to submit papers across the broad gamut of Governance, especially papers concerning inter-relationships amongst the three sectors- Public Sector, Corporate & Civil Society. While this is an open call for papers for the Governance Conference, we are particularly seeking papers for themed sessions.

Special themed sessions are planned as follows:

  • Integrated Governance: Interdependence and Interaction of all 3 sectors of Governance
  • Public Sector Governance: Inter-Relationships with Business & Civil Society
  • Corporate Sector Governance: Inter-Relationships with the Public Sector & Civil Society
  • Civil Sector Governance: Inter-Relationships with the Public & Corporate Sectors

To submit an abstract, please download the "Guidelines for Preparation of Abstracts"   and prepare the abstracts along those guidelines. Please submit an abstract of up to 250 words by Friday, 11th June 2004 to have your paper considered for a contributed session. You may either submit an abstract at this stage, with paper to follow, or submit both an abstract and a draft of the paper.

  • Abstracts must be text only and there is a limit of one submission per submitter.

Please note:

  • Papers must be submitted by the indicated deadlines in order to be included in the conference proceedings. Papers must conform to the editorial and layout guidelines as provided in the ‘Guidelines for Paper Submission. Papers will only be accepted on the condition that the manuscript has not been copyrighted, published, presented or accepted for presentation at another professional meeting. Papers can be submitted for the fully refereed stream or the non-refereed stream. Papers should generally be no more than 5,000 words.
  • Refereed papers will be subject to a rigorous blind review process. Time will be available to authors to make any changes before Friday, 10th September 2004.
  • Non-refereed papers will be subject to editorial consideration by the organisers to ensure that they meet the normal standards for working papers.
