Careers Festival

Our Festival held in week two of second semester, will see large numbers of students actively engaged in on campus activities. Join us during this peak time for your chance to inform our students about your employment opportunities, closing dates, tips on your industry and your recruitment processes.

Raise your profile on campus and update our students about your:

• vacation/internship programs
• casual and part time employment
• graduate opportunities
• experienced hires.

About the Festival

Showcase your organisation

Promote your organisation and vacancies to our students. By attending, you will have the chance to:

• remain competitive in the student recruitment market
• meet our proactive students from a range of degrees and year levels
• raise your profile and early awareness of your opportunities
• network with other employers and Monash staff.

Take part in networking session

You can choose to participate in providing face-to-face feedback to selected students to help improve their networking techniques. These students have attended a networking workshop and will be given a few minutes with you to make an impression.

• This one-hour activity will take place before the exhibition.
• You will receive additional promotion of your logo in student networking workshop materials.
• To participate and receive more information, opt-in at registration.

Present an information session

If you select a premium exhibition package, you have the chance to deliver an exclusive 10-minute information session on your opportunities during the event. Places are limited.

Link with student clubs and societies

Student representatives from clubs and societies may approach your stall 10 minutes before the doors open, giving you additional avenues to promote your organisation.

Cost

All costs are in Australian dollars and include GST. You cannot pay before receiving an invoice, which we usually issue after the event.

Packages include:

• an exhibition booth:
  • Space (3.5m wide × 2m deep) (jpg, 86kb) (located along the walls of the venue) or
  • Shell (3m wide × 1m deep × 2.5m high) (jpg, 84kb) (located in the middle of the venue) with aluminium framework.
• signs with your organisation's name and target disciplines
• table, chairs and access to a power outlet (no tablecloth or internet connection)
• catering for up to three representatives
• parking for one vehicle
• promotion to students before and during the festival.
