March Careers Festival

Our event held early March, saw over 100 exhibitors come on campus to raise their profile and inform students about:

  • graduate opportunities
  • vacation/internship programs
  • casual and part time employment
  • experienced hires.
Throughout the event, exhibitors promoted their organisation and vacancies to our students. The aim was to:
  • remain competitive in the student recruitment market
  • meet our proactive students from a range of degrees and year levels
  • raise their profile and early awareness of your opportunities
  • network with other employers and Monash staff.

Networking session

Some employers chose to participate in providing face-to-face feedback to selected students to help improve their networking techniques.

  • This one-hour activity took place between the exhibition sessions.
  • Organisations received additional promotion of your logo in student networking workshop materials.

Information session

Organisations who selected a premium package, had the chance to deliver an exclusive 10-minute information session during the event.

Link with student clubs and societies

Student representatives from clubs and societies approached stalls before the doors open, providing additional avenues to promote your organisation.

Session times

  • 10am - 12.30pm: Arts, Business, Commerce, Economics, Law, Education.
  • 2.30pm - 5pm: Art Design and Architecture, Computing/IT, Engineering, Science.

All costs are in Australian dollars and include GST. You cannot pay before receiving an invoice, which we usually issue after the event.

Packages included:

  • an exhibition booth:
  • signs with your organisation's name and target disciplines
  • table, chairs and access to a power outlet (no tablecloth or internet connection)
  • catering for up to three representatives
  • parking for one vehicle
  • promotion to students before and during the festival.
