Parking for Bicycles
Monash Peninsula has been actively involved with exploring alternative modes of transportation to reduce greenhouse emissions. To encourage this, Monash Peninsula has increased facilities for cyclists, in particular, areas for parking bicycles in secure places.
There are three main parking bays to secure bicycles as well as facilities located outside of each building to park at least two bicycles.
The first main parking bay is located underneath Building A, just up from the George Jenkins Theatre. It is an open aired area.
The second main parking bay is located under the ramp to the first level of the Student Union Building.
Finally the third main parking bay is located at the Struan Postgraduate Centre. It is located in a closed off porch area at the rear of the building. This facility is security access only. To access this facility you need to have a current student or staff card and have to apply to Security for access to the area.
