2006 Parking Permits

Peninsula campus Blue (student) parking permits for 2006 will be on sale on the following dates:
  • Thursday 9 February 2006 for applicants with a semester address 30 kms or more from campus.
  • Friday 10 February 2006 for applicants with a semester address between 0 - 29 kms from campus.

Costs and eligibility for available permits are:

RED $135 Staff Parking permits for Peninsula staff only. Contact Ms Lay Lin Oh on 9904 4339.
BLUE $55 General parking permit for Peninsula students and staff. Click here to download information about payment options and the application form.
PURPLE NA Residents' parking permits for students occupying university residence accommodation. Contact Ms Tricia Thorne on 9904 4398.
*CROSS CAMPUS PERMIT $75 For students and academic staff required to travel between Peninsula and Clayton campuses to attend classes or for teaching purposes. METERED PARKING 50 cents
per hour
Whilst there are parking meters on campus, they are restricted to the time zones displayed and are limited numbers.

*Cross campus permits can only be issued to Peninsula based students who are undertaking more than 60 per cent of classes on this campus.

Please note

  • The Peninsula campus will have increased student numbers in 2006 so demand for permits will be higher than in previous years. No guarantee can be given that a permit will be available to all applicants.
  • The university gives no undertaking that a space will be available in any particular place or area.

Parking infringements

The Peninsula campus is covered by the provisions of the Road Safety Act 1986. Vehicles parked on campus contravening signage will be issued with a parking infringement notice. Fines must be paid within 28 days in accordance with the directions on the notice. Correspondence disputing any infringement notice will not be entered into by the university. All correspondence must be sent to the PO Box listed in the ticket.
