Security and associated servicesSecurity is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at the Peninsula campus. Security officers are available to escort staff and students from buildings to car parks in the evenings. They can be contacted by pressing the button on the white security panels located at the main entrance of buildings or by calling extn 44318. After hours accessOut of hours access is provided by the Proximity card system. Staff wishing to obtain a Proximity card must first gain authorisation from their head of school/department. To have a card issued staff must complete a After Hours Access form and forward it to: Security and Traffic, Building C, Room C1.01B, Peninsula Campus. For further enquiries, please contact the Services Supervisor on extn 44108. There are strict guidelines for staff entering buildings after normal working hours, including weekends, or remaining in their office after lock down. Security must be advised on extn 44318 in these instance. KeysAll keys to internal doors are the responsibility of the Key Controller within your school/department. Requests for keys should be directed to this person who will requisition any additional keys required from the Works Branch. |
